News & Updates
This project gave me the opportunity to visit my little brother’s school, read one of the donated books to his class, and share all about Project Rainbow, an experience I loved. I’ve also had many meaningful conversations with teachers, my principal, and fellow students, which led to starting the Safe Space Club at my school. Project Rainbow was also featured in my local newspaper which generated so many donations.
I was recently honoured with a Leading Women Leading Girls Award from MPP Peggy Sattler, and it was inspiring to meet so many incredible women in my city.
I also started a podcast where I review books from the Project Rainbow wishlist and interview some of the authors. It’s been a fun and educational experience, and I hope to continue creating more episodes. You can find the podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts or via this site.
A BIG THANK YOU!
I am so grateful to everyone who has donated books, spread the word and supported me during this project. I plan to continue to collect inclusive books and donate them to local schools for as long as I can.
I hope my podcast episodes, list of books and my resource page will continue to be helpful, please feel free to keep sharing my site and stay tuned!
Thanks again to everyone who has joined me on this quest to spread the rainbow!
